Nick Gibb

Nick Gibb (* 3. September 1960 in Amersham , Buckinghamshire ) is a British politician of the Conservative Party .

Life

Gibb attended Bedford Modern School , Maidstone Grammar School , Roundhay School Leeds and studied law at Durham University . In 1984 he became an employee at KPMG , for which he worked until 1997. Gibb has been a Member of the House of Commons since May 1, 1997, representing the constituency of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton . From 2010 to 2012 and again since July 15, 2014, Gibb is State Secretary in the Ministry of Education. In June 2015 it became publicly known that he will marry his partner Michael Simmonds, with whom he has lived for over 29 years.
