Robert Tyszkiewicz (2014)

Robert Tyszkiewicz (born June 7, 1963 in Białystok ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Robert Tyszkiewicz went to grammar school No. 2 in Białystok. During the state of emergency in the early 1980s , Tyszkiewicz organized strikes at his school and was expelled from school. He then passed his Abitur while working as a paramedic at an evening school. Because of his political activities he was arrested in 1984 and again in 1985. He began studying Polish Philology at a branch of the University of Warsaw in Białystok, but did not finish it. From 1990 to 1992 he was editor of Tygodnika Białostockiego and the pulse . In 1992 he founded the private publishing house Publikator . In 2001 he became a member of Platforma Obywatelska and ran for it in the 2005 parliamentary elections . With 13,232 votes, he succeeded in gaining a seat in the Sejm . In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 , he ran again in the constituency 24 Białystok and was again able to win a mandate with 30,971 votes .

Robert Tyszkiewicz is married and has one child.
