Robert Wightman

Robert Douglas Wightman (born December 29, 1952 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

His most famous role was that of John-Boy Walton , replacing original actor Richard Thomas , in the television series The Waltons , which he played from 1979 to 1982. His most popular films include A Man for Certain Hours and Father's Day , each of which played a serial killer .
