Roberta Mazzoni (screenwriter)

Roberta Mazzoni (born October 3, 1951 in Milan ) is an Italian screenwriter , director and writer.

Life

After studying literature and working as a costume designer at the "Piccolo Teatro" in Milan, Mazzoni worked in various fields of culture, including for the RAI Corporation in New York. For the cinema she assisted a. a. Liliana Cavani and directed a short film that was shown as part of the episode film Provvisorio, quasì d'amore . From 1988 onwards, several scripts were written, often for female directors.

Mazzoni wrote as an author under the pseudonym Roberta De Falco some detective novels with the protagonist Commissioner Ettore Benussi, which are set in Trieste .

She lives in Trieste, Rome and Orvieto.
