Robertas Dargis

Robertas Dargis (born August 9, 1960 in Irkutsk Oblast , Soviet Union ) is a Lithuanian manager and entrepreneur .

Life

Robertas Dargis graduated from the children's music school ( accordion and saxophone classes ) and after graduating from Mažeikiai Second Middle School, graduated in civil engineering from Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas (VGTU). From 1983 to 1987 he worked at the hydropower plant in Kaišiadorys as works manager, commercial director, from 1992 to 1993 deputy director of the construction company "Monolitas", from 1993 director of UAB " Eika " in Vilnius , from 2000 to 2001 government chancellor of Rolandas Paksas from 2003 to In 2004 he taught at the VGTU.

Since 2012 he has been President of the Lithuanian Federation of Industrialists (LPK), succeeding Bronislovas Lubys (1938–2011).

2001–2013 he was the head of the Lithuanian Sailing Union ( Lietuvos buriuotojų sąjunga ). From 2013 he was Vice President for Strategic Development.
