Roberto Alderete Morales (born June 7, 1961 in Mexico City ) is a former Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield and started working as a soccer coach after his active career.

career

As a player

Born in Chilango, he began his professional career at his "home club" Club America , with whom he won the championship title four times and the CONCACAF Champions' Cup once .

In 1988 he moved to Club Necaxa , where he was under contract until 1992. He then played a year for CF Pachuca and in his last season in 1993/94 for newly promoted Toros Neza .

As a trainer

After his active career, Alderete began to work as a coach and was both in the coaching staff of his former club América and at the traditional club Unión de Curtidores, which is now only underclassed . Currently (2016/17) he works as head coach at Club Deportivo Anlesjeroka , which plays in the fourth-class Tercera Division .
