Roberto Benzi (born December 12, 1937 in Marseille ) is a Franco-Italian conductor.

From 1947 Benzi studied conducting with André Cluytens and music theory with Fernand Lamy . In 1948 he made his debut in Paris and then made guest appearances in many European countries. In 1959 he conducted for the first time at the Paris Opéra Carmen . Since then he has been a guest conductor of important orchestras, including permanent guest conductor of the Philharmonic Radio Orchestra Hilversum.
