Roberto Font
Roberto Font (born October 21, 1904 in San Juan de Potosí , † June 16, 1981 in Manoteros , Madrid ) was a Mexican actor.
Life
Font was born in the locker room of the La Paz theater in San Juan de Potosí, Mexico. His parents were part of a stage troupe of Zarzuela actors - Enrique Font and Elisa Donis. Born into a long family tradition of actors, he has been used in stage plays since early childhood.
Font became a seaman at the age of 22 but left the profession and became an actor when he was in Spain in 1926. In 1935 he got his first film role (Amor en maniobras) . Font worked both on stage and in film, returned to his native Mexico for a few years , but stayed in his adopted home Spain from 1957.
Font also worked for television until his death.
