Roberto Rey
Roberto Rey (actually Roberto Colás Iglesias , born February 15, 1905 in Valparaíso , † May 30, 1972 in Madrid ) was a Chilean actor .
Life
Rey, who grew up in Spain and used his stage name since the beginning of his career, made his first film in 1925, Madrid en el año 2000 by Manuel Noriega . At the beginning of the 1930s he belonged to the Spanish colony in Hollywood, which shot the local language versions of major studio films there. In some films he was also heard as a singer, for example in Madrid de mis sueños (1942). In the course of his career he has appeared on screen over fifty times.
