The Robertson Channel is a strait in the Windmill Islands archipelago off the Budd coast of Wilkesland, East Antarctica . The channel separates the mainland Mitchell Peninsula from the islands of Pidgeon Island and Warrington Island .
It was first mapped using aerial photographs of the US Operation Highjump (1946–1947) and Operation Windmill (1947–1948). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1963 after the American glaciologist Richard A. Robertson, who was a member of the team at Wilkes Station in 1958.
