The Robertson Landing is a headland on the north side Ardery Iceland in Archipelago of the Windmill Islands off the Budd Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It is located near the western end of the island and serves as a pier .
The first landing in 1961 was made by the Australian polar explorer Phillip Law together with a team from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . It is named after the Australian entrepreneur Norman Napoleon Robertson (1909-1993), who financed the expansion of the headland as a jetty.
