The ideal "dolmen with a walk" ( French dolmen à couloir ) in the cairn (hill)

The Dolmen Roche de Migourdy is located in a field on a hill covered by trees and thick undergrowth, south of Plumelec near Vannes in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

Here two gangway dolmens ( French dolmens à couloir ) lay in a cairn about 25.0 m in diameter, one of which is completely ruined. The second, which is still largely covered by the hill, has a head-high chamber that measures around 3.5 × 2.5 m and is lined with large panels. A few stones from the corridor have been preserved.

Between the dolmens there was a small cavity made of flat plates that housed Roman objects.
