Rock Radio (formerly: Roxy FM or Radio Roxy - Radio Group ) is a private radio broadcaster in Poland . The regional programs broadcast from Cracow , Opole , Poznan and Warsaw .

The previous program was set up as a network of seven independent regional radio stations. Since a program reform in 2009, it has been based on a wide range of alternative music , consisting of alternative pop and rock, electronic music and hip-hop . With this, the broadcaster wanted to a. addressing young people. Then as now, the program is editorially supplemented by lifestyle and cultural reports and news from the music scene.

On January 31, 2014, the family of stations was revised and Rock Radio was created as a new station. It is the successor to the main program on VHF. The FM stations Bydgoszcz , Wrocław and Katowice were given up. A range of music with current titles and rock classics was introduced. The internet channels (previously indie, metal, punk, electronic music and Polish music) have also been revised.

"The smallest concert in the world"

Roxy FM was known, among other things, for its series of concerts entitled “The smallest concert in the world” ( Najmniejszy koncert świata ). Roxy FM organized this concert series as closed events for its listeners. 10 to 20 tickets per concert were raffled off to the station's listeners. Some appearances have been released on DVD.

The concert series was nominated by the student journalist organization MediaTory in the special category “Organizer”.
