Rockpower Television is a British-German television series . It was first broadcast in Germany by ARD in 1987 and 1988. Two British music channels are fighting for market leadership in music TV .
action
The music broadcaster NET ( Nice and Easy Television ) had the dominant position in the industry with its good and commercial songs, until the small, basement-produced broadcaster RAT ( Rock Action Television ) contested them with cheeky punk rock music.
background
The series was produced in English. The framework of the individual episodes were kept rather flat, but the series offered a great look back at the punk and rock hits of the 1970s and early 1980s. ARD initially only broadcast the first three episodes on Sundays in the main program. Episodes 4 to 10 were subsequently shown on BR television .
