Rod de Highden

Roderic "Rod" de Highden (born January 15, 1969 in Melbourne , Australia ) is a former Australian long-distance runner.

De Highden was the Australian national champion over the marathon distance in 1995, 2000 and 2002 . In 1996 he took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta for the first time and finished 23rd on the marathon distance. His personal best on the marathon route was in 1999 in 2:13:53 hours. At the games in his own country , he reached 28th place four years later.
