The Rodenberg , in the local dialect Rodebärg , is a mountain in the communities Basadingen-Schlattingen , Diessenhofen and Wagenhausen in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland . The mountain is 588 m above sea level. M. high and consists of sandstone .

The southern slope of the Rodenberg is used for agriculture by means of viticulture , the rest of the mountain is forested. The Rodenberg is also considered a local recreation destination. The Blauseeli is located in the Schlattinger area, 500 m from the village . This small pond is well developed with hiking trails and offers barbecue facilities.
In the past, the Rodenberg was used for sandstone mining.
Trivia
In Schlattingen , the Rodebärghalle gymnasium was named after the local mountain of the village.
