Rodja Weigand

Rodja Weigand (born October 23, 1945 in Munich ) is a German poet and editor .

Life

Weigand has been writing poetry and short prose since 1963 . He was the editor of the Landsberger Reader and the volumes of poetry by Paul Éluard , Jannis Ritsos , Franziska Sellwig (his long-term partner), Elfriede Jelinek , Giorgos Seferis , Keorapetse Kgositsile , Rubén Darío , Nelly Sachs , Walt Whitman , Ernest Hemingway and Rafael Alberti .

Rodja Weigand lives in Schwifting .
