Rodolfo Alonso

Rodolfo Alonso (born October 1934 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentine poet , translator , essayist and editor . He is one of the most important voices in contemporary poetry in his home country.

Literary translations

As a translator, Alonso has translated texts by Giuseppe Ungaretti , Paul Éluard , Marguerite Duras , Eugenio Montale , Pier Paolo Pasolini , Georges Schehadé , Charles Baudelaire , André Breton and many more into the Spanish language.
