Tyntschtykbek Kadyrmambetowitsch Tschorotegin (Tschorojew) ( Kyrgyz / Russian Тынчтыкбек Кадырмамбетович Чоротегин (Чороев) ; * 28. March 1959 in Naryn , Kyrgyz SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Kyrgyz historian , turkologist , university professors, politicians and journalists .

Life

In 1976 Tyntschtykbek Chorotegin graduated from high school in Naryn and then studied at the History Faculty of the Kyrgyz State University in Frunze (now Bishkek ), where he became a teacher in 1981. In September 1983, he traveled to Tashkent and graduated there in 1988. His postgraduate in al-Biruni -Institute for Oriental Studies at the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan from. After defending his dissertation, Chorotegin returned to Bishkek. He is currently a professor at the Kyrgyz State University. He wrote some textbooks for schools.

In addition to his job, Chorotegin is a journalist . In 1991 he became a freelance reporter for this station with the help of the director of the Kyrgyz service RFE / RL . From 1998 to 2000, Chorotegin worked as a producer for the BBC in London . From 2003 to 2010 he headed the Kyrgyz service RFE / RL .

Tyntschtykbek Chorotegin is one of the founders of the democratic movement "Kyrgyzstan". He is also a co-author of the Basic Law of Kyrgyzstan.

Chorotegin married Nurgül Dyikanalijewa ( Kyrgyz Нургүл Дыйканалиева ) (February 13, 1957 - September 17, 2012) on May 15, 1982. After she died, he married the philologist Aischat Botobekowa - Choroeva ( Kyrgyz Айвашатебекотототототототева ). Chorotegin has a son and daughters.

In 2011 he was one of the top authors of the Kyrgyz language Wikipedia .
