Rodolfo González (boxer)
Rodolfo González (* 16th December 1945 in Guadalajara , Mexico ) was a Mexican boxer in the lightweight .
On November 10, 1972, González was in a 15 round fight with a victory by technical knockout in round 10 against his compatriot Chango Carmona World Champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC for short).
González defended his title against Ruben Navarro the following year and lost it in April 1974 by classic knockout in the 8th round to the Japanese Guts Ishimatsu . González also lost the rematch against Ishimatsu, which took place at the end of November of the same year, by a classic knockout in round 12. This fight was also González's last.
