Career
Kappenberger played for SC Zug , FC Lugano and FC Basel . He also played six international matches for the Swiss national football team and scored five goals, including both goals in Switzerland's 2-1 victory over Greater Germany on February 1, 1942 in the Prater Stadium in Vienna.
