Roe Island is an island off the Davis Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located around 3 km west of Cape Andreas in the entrance to Curtiss Bay .
Aerial photos by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. from 1955 to 1957 were used to map them. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the British aviation pioneer Alliott Verdon Roe (1877-1958).
