The Roe River rises from the Giant Springs near the city of Great Falls in the US state of Montana and flows into the Missouri River .
It is said to be the shortest river in the world and as such was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records . Its length is just over 61 meters (around 201 feet). The river is in Giant Spring State Park . In the recreation area, the river is crossed by a pedestrian bridge.
