Rogelio Omar Rossi (born October 12, 1981 in San Nicolas ) is an Argentine professional boxer in the cruiserweight weight class .

Rossi started professional boxing at the end of 2006 and achieved a mixed record. He lost two of his first three fights and boxed a draw against Mariano Ruben Diaz Strunz (balance: 9-6). In August 2010 he won the South American Championship, in January 2011 also the Argentine Championship and in June 2011 the interim Latin American Championship of the WBO .

On October 22, 2011 he fought as a challenger for the World Championship of the WBO against Marco Huck . In the unclean fight, Rossi was punished for low blows in the third round with a point deduction. Huck hit the Argentine illegally on the back of the head in the same lap. Huck also received two points deductions for hits after the round gong, but also scored two knockdowns against Rossi in the fifth round and won by knockout in the sixth round.
