Roger Gould

Roger L. Gould (born August 2, 1962 in New York City ) is an American film director .

Life

Gould grew up in New York City and studied computer animation at Brown University and animation at the Rhode Island School of Design . He first worked at Walt Disney Feature Animation and joined the short films division of Pixar Animation Studios in 2001 . He was the director of the Oscar-nominated short animated films Mike's New Car (2002, with Pete Docter ) and Boundin ' (2003, with Bud Luckey ). Since 2005, Gould has been the creative director of Pixar theme park attractions in the Disney theme parks, working closely with Walt Disney Imagineering.
