Boundin ' is a five-minute animated short film from 2003 produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released as a supporting film for Pixar's production The Incredibles .
action
The film is about a sheep that lives in the American West. It has a beautiful fur and, through its dance, can enthusiastically entice all other animals to dance. One day when the shepherd comes, he takes the sheep, shears it and then leaves it naked. It is now ashamed and thereby loses its ability to inspire the other animals through its dance. The others also laugh at him. When it has withdrawn crying, a jackalope comes by and takes care of it. He teaches the sheep through a song how to face the eternal ups and downs of life. The sheep takes these words to heart and its courage to live returns, as does its ability to dance. When his wool has grown back and the shepherd comes again, the sheep meets him with equanimity and is then no longer impressed by the shearing and the state of nakedness and just continues dancing.
