action

The action takes place in a world in which the storks bring the newborn children in the beak of humans and animals. As soon as they have delivered their delivery, it goes back to the clouds , the tops of which show themselves as god-like beings, who form all young creatures out of cloud mass and bring them to life with a lightning strike. Each of these clouds is visited by a stork who receives the children from it, wrapped in a white cloth sack.

Below the cloud field, a single, somewhat darker cloud is floating around. The cloud Gus prefers not the cute little dogs, kittens or even human babies, but aggressive crocodiles , bighorn sheep or tree prickers . His stork Peck returns more and more disheveled after each delivery, finally rejects the delivery of a young shark completely and leaves his cloud to find another. Gus is jealous and resentful, causing thunder and lightning beneath him, and then bursts into tears that turn to rain.

Peck then returns with his own pouch in his beak. The contents consist of a football helmet and shoulder pads so he can keep flying for his cloud. The cloud is overjoyed and immediately forms a new animal - an electric eel , against which protective clothing is useless.
