Rokya Fofana (born May 24, 1997 ) is a Burkinabe hurdler who has specialized in the 400 meter hurdles .

Athletic career

Rokya Fofana gained her first international experience at the Junior African Championships 2015 in Addis Ababa , where she finished fifth in 63.18 seconds. Then she took part for the first time in the Africa Games in Brazzaville and reached eighth place in 60.72 s. The following year she was eliminated from the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 62.62 s in the first round, and in 2017 she was fourth in 60.45 s at the Francophonie Games in Abidjan . In 2018 she was eliminated from the African Championships in Asaba in the first round and finished seventh in the Burkinabe 4 x 100 meter relay in 47.73 s. The following year she took part again in the African Games in Rabat and was eliminated there with 61.05 s in the lead and finished sixth with the relay in 46.77 s.

In 2018, Fofana became the Burkinabe champion in the 400-meter hurdles.
