Roland Beuge

Roland Beuge (* 1966 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German moderator . He became known through his appearances in the program Der Trödel-King, which was formerly on WDR television .

Career

Bent's interest in junk and antiques was aroused after his confirmation . He got a lot less money for confirmation than his friends and so couldn't buy a lot. In addition to doing odd jobs, he sold his old comics and Lego on the weekend . Later he took old things from the bulky waste, restored them and also sold them. After his school days, Beuge worked in various professions. He also ran a junk shop in Cologne and Troisdorf and supplied stores in Germany , Belgium and Austria .

He went to ProSieben and you saw him as a junk expert in junk and Reibach . He was also seen on WDR in the program Der große Finanz-Check . Until 2011 he was still an expert during the service time of the WDR. From 2007 to 2011 he was seen in his own show Der Trödel-King . In May 2013 he suffered pelvic and back injuries when he was hit by a car.

At the end of May 2014, a pilot episode of the docu-soap Beuges Schätze - Der Trödelprofi got shown on Kabel Eins . In addition to the sale of his clients' junk, the purchase of valuable items for clients is also on the agenda. The pilot episode only achieved below-average audience ratings.

Beuge has been working for national and international auction houses since 2017. In doing so, he separates valuable items that go directly to the auction from items with little tangible value that he takes into his network and sells over the Internet. He also advises families on antiques.

Beuge's name made the rounds in 2012 when it was found out he was evading taxes. Beuge is said to have evaded income and sales tax in the high five-digit range from 2008 to 2009 alone. In 2011, the Siegburg tax office received an anonymous tip. He was provisionally arrested in November 2011. Due to tax evasion amounting to around 200,000 euros, the public prosecutor's office issued a penalty warrant for ten months' imprisonment on probation against Roland Beuge. Beuge did not appeal the penalty order.
