Roland Harper
Roland St. George Tristram "Roly" Harper (born April 23, 1907 in Merstham , Surrey , † April 24, 1989 in Sevenoaks ) was a British hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .
At the British Empire Games in Hamilton in 1930 he was starting fifth for England over the 120 yard hurdles. In 1932 he retired from the Olympic Games in Los Angeles despite a personal best of 14.9 s in the semifinals.
