Fred Gaby
Fred Gaby (actually Frederick Richard Gaby ; born March 12, 1895 in Marylebone , † April 7, 1984 in Storrington , West Sussex ) was a British hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .
At the Olympic Games he reached the semifinals in Paris in 1924 and was sixth in Amsterdam in 1928 .
In 1930 he won bronze over 120 yard hurdles for England starting at the British Empire Games in Hamilton .
He was English champion five times (1922, 1923, 1925–1927). He set his personal best of 14.9 s over 120 yards on July 30, 1927 in London .
