Roland Hochfilzer (born September 20, 1963 in Wörgl ) is a former Austrian skeleton athlete and later trainer.

Roland Hochfilzer was a ski jumper in his youth . Later he was a member of the B- later the A-squad of the Austrian national team in the skeleton. In the second half of the 1990s he took part in several races in the Skeleton World Cup and achieved his best result with ninth place in 1998 in Igls . On November 26th, 2000 he won the very first race of the newly introduced European Skeleton Cup in Igls. Hochfilzer is now the trainer of the Austrian skeleton Intercontinental Cup team.
