Roland Koerner

Roland Körner (* 1972 ) is a German politician from St. Ingbert . From November 23, 2014 to November 19, 2016, he was federal chairman of the German Family Party .

Roland Körner joined the family party in 2004. He has been the state chairman of the Saarland family party since 2010. In addition, Roland Körner is a member of the St. Ingbert city council, in which he is the parliamentary group leader of the family party. Roland Körner was elected Federal Chairman of the Family Party in Germany on November 23, 2014 . He was able to prevail in the first ballot against the previous federal chairman Maria Hartmann and another challenger. In 2016 he no longer ran for office and was succeeded by Arne Gericke .

Roland Körner was the top candidate of his party in the state elections in Saarland in 2012 . He was again elected as the top candidate for the 2017 state elections. Politically, Roland Körner sees families as the nucleus of society, without society perishing. The triad of social market economy, welfare state and intergenerational contract is one of the most social achievements of mankind, which current politics in this country is trampling on.
