Roland mix
Roland Mixture (born October 25, 1947 in Marburg ) is a German ethnologist .
Life
From 1966 to 1974 he first studied mathematics and physics, then ethnology, sociology, prehistory and early history, psychology and Thai studies at the universities of Frankfurt am Main and Heidelberg ; several trips to North Africa and Thailand . From 1993 to 2013 he taught as a professor for ethnology at the University of Hamburg .
His main research interests are ethnology of religion, cultural ecology, group identities, social spaces and Southeast Asia.
