Roland Risse (born August 28, 1902 in Bochum ; † 1990 ) was a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official.

Life

Risse attended school in Mainz and completed a banking apprenticeship in Frankfurt am Main from 1921 to 1924. After studying law, he practiced as a lawyer from 1932 to 1937. From 1937 to 1945 he was a lawyer at the Reich Association of German Industry . After the end of the war, he initially worked in the private sector as head of a photochemical factory in Flörsheim am Main. In the years 1948/1949 he worked in the administration for economy of the United Economic Area , and after the establishment of the Federal Republic in the Federal Ministry of Economy . There he was appointed Ministerialrat in 1950, Ministerial Director in 1952 and Ministerial Director in 1956. From 1949 to 1957 he was head of subdivision IB (prices, cartels, monopolies, taxes and duties), from 1957 to 1964 head of department II (general SME issues, economic development, craft, trade, industry, technology), and from 1964 to 1967 Head of Department IV (Commercial Economy). In addition, until April 1966, he was responsible for coordinating economic defense issues. In 1967 he retired.
