Roland Stark

Roland Stark (* 1951 in Appenzell ; resident in Appenzell and Basel ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Strong is a curative teacher . For almost forty years he taught small classes in Pratteln and Basel.

He was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt from 1984 to 1997 and again from 2001 to 2008 . From 1981 to 1990, Stark presided over the SP Basel-Stadt , from 1992 to 1997 the SP parliamentary group in the Grand Council and in the 2008/2009 office year the Grand Council. From 1999 to 2005 he was a member of the Constitutional Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, of which he was its first President until 2001. In 2019, Stark moved from SP Basel-Stadt to SP Appenzell Innerrhoden .

Stark writes columns for the Basler Zeitung .

He is married and has two children.
