Roland Stinauer (born September 3, 1991 in Bruck / Leitha ) is an Austrian musician who is primarily active in the blues genre .

biography

Stinauer spent his childhood in his hometown Bruck an der Leitha. His parents shaped him musically, his father Wolfgang as a guitarist, his mother Isabella as a studied accordionist .

After doing community service in the Bruck retirement home, he moved to Vienna to study physics, psychology and philosophy. During this time he received lessons from Arnoldo Moreno (guitar) and Gerlinde Tichy (vocals). He later pursued his studies alongside his profession as a musician.

Stinauer's musical horizon ranges from metal to blues to jazz , gypsy and electro . He played with well-known Austrian blues musicians like Al Cook , Peter Kern , Jörg Danielsen, Hannes Kahses, Hermann Posch, Marius Dobra, Christian Prechtl and Andy Bankhofer as well as with newcomers like Mate Fodor from Hungary or Dorina Garuci and gypsy greats like Claudius Jelinek.

With his brother Markus Stinauer he works as Mark & ​​Friends with music students and professionals. Since January 2018 he has been leading the Roland Stinauer Acoustic Session in Café Carina.
