Roland Wengenmayr

Roland Wengenmayr (* approx. 1962 ) is a German science journalist and physicist. Together with Thomas Bührke, he is the “Editor” of Physics in Our Time . He also works as a draftsman and illustrator.

Wengenmayr studied physics at TU Darmstadt and then worked at CERN in Geneva. Between 1993 and 2000 he was a lecturer at the science publisher Wiley-VCH in Weinheim . He has been working as a freelance science journalist since 2001. He is the author and editor of several books. He is also a draftsman and has illustrated books. His articles appear in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung , the Handelsblatt and MaxPlanckResearch , among others .
