Rolf Andra
Rolf Andra (born August 24, 1907 in Hegne near Konstanz as Josef Fuchs ; † March 4, 1998 ibid) was a German magician and author .
Life
After school he learned the trade of a farmer. At the age of 12 he became enthusiastic about the art of magic after discovering a book of magic and having a card trick demonstrated by his grandfather. In 1946 he appeared for the first time in public and full-time as a magician in the Varieté Capitol, Konstanz. Since then he has called himself Rolf Andra - the laughing magician . In addition to his full-length programs, he primarily devoted himself to the art of magic with playing cards, an area on which he has published several pioneering publications and written articles in several German-language magical periodicals. He has published over 100 articles in the magical magazine Magische Welt alone .
