Rolf Ballof
Rolf Ballof (born January 26, 1938 ; † July 31, 2016 in Northeim ) was a German history teacher and history didactician .
From 1948 to 1957 he attended the Windthorst-Gymnasium in Meppen . After graduating, he became a high school teacher. From 1972 until his retirement in 2003 he was head of the Jacobson-Gymnasium Seesen . From 1992 to 2002 he was the federal chairman of the Association of History Teachers in Germany . He was the editor and author of school books. As a historian, he did research in particular on German-Jewish history.
Ballof was chairman of the FDP local association Northeim.
