Rolf Bielas

Rolf Bielas (born September 2, 1950 in Weißwasser / Oberlausitz ) is a former German ice hockey player and today's ice hockey coach .

Bielas played as a striker for Dynamo Weißwasser and was from 1968 to 1982 National Player of the GDR . With 135 international goals for the GDR, he is one of the German national record players .

Bielas was eight times champion of the GDR with Dynamo Weißwasser .

After his active career, he switched to coaching. He was a coach at Dynamo Weißwasser from 1982 to 1991, switched to ETC Crimmitschau as head coach in 1992 (until 1994) and was active in the junior division until 2000. Then he was a trainer with the Saaleteufeln Halle (until April 2003), with the Rostock Piranhas (until March 2004) and in Braunschweig.

Bielas is a member of the Hall of Fame of German ice hockey .
