Rolf Gerhold

Rolf Gerhold (* 1957 / 1958 ) is a German American football trainer and former poker players.

career

The 1.90 meter Gerhold played for the Hamburg Blue Devils from 1992 to 1998 . In 1995 he tore a cruciate ligament and missed the final of the German championship (which his teammates lost). In 1996 he won the German championship and the Eurobowl with the team , and in 1997 and 1998 again the final of the European Football League competition . Gerhold was also used in the German national team.

After retiring from competitive sport, Gerhold was responsible for the offensive in the Bremen Bravehearts ' coaching staff in the 1999 season , and from 2000 he held the same position for the Hamburg Huskies , in the 2002 season he was the huskies' offensive coordinator and at times head coach.

In 2003 Gerhold was appointed assistant trainer for the running backs at the Blue Devils , and from spring 2003 he was also the club's second chairman.

Later he was in the coaching staff of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes under head coach Patrick Esume responsible for the tight ends .
