Rolf Krabbenhöft (born in the 20th century) is a former German handball player.

Career

Rolf Krabbenhöft comes from Kiel. He became a member of the then leading North German handball club THW Kiel , where he quickly made a career and rose to the top performers of the club. He therefore quickly became a member of the first field handball team, with which he participated in the first German post-war championship as early as 1948 (it was actually only an interzone championship, as the eastern zone at that time did not participate) in field handball. With this team, THW Kiel became German champions after beating SV 07 Waldhof 10: 8 in the final. The THW repeated this success in 1950 with the line-up of Helmut Wriedt , Jürgen Kniphals , Theo Schwedler , Heinz-Georg Sievers , Fritz Westheider , Herbert Podolske , Krabbenhöft, Heinrich Dahlinger , Heinz Rieckmann , Kurt Ochs , Heinrich Bücker , Herbert Rohwer and Fritz Wessling .

For winning the German field handball championship, he and the THW team were awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf by Federal President Theodor Heuss on December 1, 1950 .

From 1964 to 1965, Rolf Krabbenhöft was the supervisor of the THW handball team.
