Rolf Kramer (journalist)
Rolf Kramer (born March 1, 1938 in Kranenburg ) is a former German sports reporter .
Life
Kramer studied journalism, history and philosophy at the University of Münster , but dropped out prematurely.
From 1960 he volunteered at various daily newspapers. From 1963 he worked at WDR radio , from April 1966 at SWF and from April 1971 at ZDF . Among other things, Kramer moderated the ZDF sports report there for many years , of which he was also director. He was also used at various soccer world championships . So he commented z. For example, the 1978 World Cup final, the legendary 1982 semi-final between Germany and France and the 1986 World Cup final . He also commented on the game of the 1978 World Cup between the Federal Republic of Germany and Austria (shame of Córdoba) as well as the game in the quarter-finals of the 1986 World Cup between Brazil and France and the miracle of Grotenburg .
Kramer is the father of four children.
