Rolf Palm (* 1932 in Cologne ) is a German writer. He became known through his work as a journalist for the magazine stern and the documentary novel about the bridge at Remagen .

life and work

After studying languages ​​as an interpreter for English and French at the state interpreting school in Cologne and studying history at Summerset University London, Palm worked as a journalist for Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger , stern and Quick . He was one of the founders of twen magazine . Since 1973 Palm has lived as a freelance book author in Monte Carlo .

His book “Die Brücke von Remagen”, published in 1985, served as a template for the stage play “Die Brücke”, which has been performed by the Rhineland-Palatinate state theater since 2006 at the original location in the former Erpel railway tunnel .
