Rolf S. Wolkenstein

Rolf S. Wolkenstein (born July 1, 1958 in Stuttgart ) is a German film director, documentary filmmaker and author.

Life

Wolkenstein studied at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin from 1982 to 1986 . In 1989, together with Christoph Dreher and Martin Potthoff, he founded the company "Weltbild" (later "Turner & Tailor"), which developed several documentaries, documentary series, series and themed evenings for ZDF, WDR, 3Sat, ARTE and VIVA during its 10th anniversary , realized and produced at the same time. Since 1999 he has been working as a freelance director and author again.

For his work, Wolkenstein received the directing award of the Munich Student Festival, the Adolf Grimme Award and the Golden Cable in Silver.
