Rolf Schmiel, before 2015

Rolf Schmiel (born May 15, 1973 in Hattingen ) is a German psychologist, author, lecturer and television presenter.

Life

Rolf Schmiel studied psychology and ergonomics at the Ruhr University Bochum .

As a qualified psychologist, he initially worked as a research assistant at the chair for communication psychology. Since 1999 he has been self-employed as a psychologist and management consultant. Since 2013 he has been concentrating on his work as a lecturer and media expert. Rolf Schmiel achieved public fame with his appearances on Sat.1 breakfast television, his radio contributions for BR3, Radio21 and WDR2. In February 2017 he hosted the SAT.1 show “So tickt der Mensch” alongside Ruth Moschner , which was canceled after three episodes for lack of success.
