Rolf Ulbrich

Rolf Herbert W. Ulbrich (born December 26, 1920 in Gablonz ; † February 21, 2006 ) was a German philologist and university professor.

Life

Rolf Ulbrich studied Slavic Studies at the Universities of Prague and Leipzig . In 1953 he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD. Since 1948 he has been teaching at the universities of Leipzig and Jena without interruption , since 1954 as a lecturer and lecturer at the University of Leipzig. In 1959 he moved to the Free University of Berlin , where he was appointed Academic Councilor in 1969, Academic Senior Councilor in 1970 and Professor in 1971. Ulbrich taught Slavic Philology , especially Czech . In 1986 he became a member of the Corps Teutonia Berlin .
