Roman (Tsar)

Roman ( Bulgarian Роман ; * around 929 ?; † 997 ) was Tsar of Bulgaria in the 10th century and ruled the Bulgarian Empire from 977 to 997. He came from the House of Krum . His paternal grandfather was Simeon the Great , and on his mother's side he was a great-grandson of the Byzantine emperor Romanos I. Lekapenos .
