Roman Leitner (born February 19, 1919 in Linz , Austria ; † February 22, 2012 ) was an Austrian auditor and tax advisor and president of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Public Accountants.

After completing his studies, Roman Leitner started his own business as an auditor and tax consultant in 1959, concentrating on the connection between tax law and corporate law as well as restructuring, buying and selling companies and advice on succession issues , thus laying the foundation for the development of one of the largest public trust companies Austria and the neighboring countries to the east with today more than 700 employees, more than half of them in Austria.
